Volleyball
Western Cup began in 1982 as a volleyball tournament and has grown to include many other sports. Although it has added other sports volleyball still continues to be the largest sporting event over the Western Cup weekend. Western Cup volleyball maxes out every year at 32 teams, so make sure that you register early so you don't miss out.
The volleyball tournament is pool play with double elimination, certified refs all weekend, tickets to all Western Cup social events, lunch both days, tons of give aways and great fun.
Volleyball will be take place on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 at the Volleydome.
Western Cup Tournament
Western Cup Division has three division of teams.
A - Competitive
B - Intermediate
C - Recreational
Team captians will need to register their team through the Western Cup website and select which division they wish to play in.
Registration Fees
Team registration fees is for seven (7) players. Extra player fees are listed below. Team fees include seven (7) Party Paks.

Party Paks get you entry into all social events and discounts at local businesses over the Western Cup weekend.

Tournament Set Up
Three divisions
A Highly competitive and strong intermediate players
(NAGVA A/BB)
B Intermediate play/moderate intermediate players
(NAGVA BB/B)
C recreational players
- Participants have to register in ONE of the above divisions as part of ONE team.
- Co-ed teams (any combination of men and women) will be accepted in all divisions.
- Participants will select their own level of play during registration, however tournament officials reserve the right to re-evaluate teams and move them up or down a division if necessary. The organizing committee also reserves the right to combine or cancel divisions if there are an insufficient number of teams registered.
