I'm new to hockey. Where is the best place to sit?
   Good Question! Everyone is different and the Bucs' staff is here to help. 
   Feel free to ask anyone at the ticket window for their advice and if you
   come prior to the game day we'll be more than happy to give you a quick
   tour of seating options.

Where is Parking Available?
   There is plenty of parking available around Buccaneer Arena. The arena
   itself has a "pay-to-park" lot. Other options include the spacious K-Mart  
   and Sherwood Forest lots located across the street which are free. Other
   businesses also provide parking options but do charge a fee.

   Fans are asked to be considerate of our residential neighbors on the
   north side of the building when parking on side streets.

What if I purchased tickets and can't make the game?
   The Des Moines Buccaneers don't offer refunds on tickets. In the event you
    can't make a game, the Bucs recommend giving your tickets away. For season
    tickets holders only, there is a redemption policy on unused tickets.

   In the rare event a game is postponed due to weather, or any other reason,  
   information regarding your tickets will be available on the website.

Is an ATM available?
   During Buccaneer games, there are two ATM's located in the concourse
   area.

Can I meet/talk to the players?
    Of course you can and we are more than happy to help facilitate your
    chances to meet players at games and public appearances. Players are
    available for autographs and conversation after EVERY home game. We
    also promote all of our public appearances which is actually the best
    time to meet your favorite players.

I want to play for the Bucs. How can I sign up?
   Buccaneer players are age 16-20 and are recruited by the coaching staff.  
   The team also hosts a tryout camp each June in Urbandale. If you are
   interested in a spot with the team, please contact the coaching staff or
   have your own coaches contact the Bucs.

How do I get to ride the Zamboni at a Bucs' game?
    Call the Bucs' office at (515) 278-2827 to schedule. Spaces are
    available on a first come, first served basis. There is no charge to ride the
    zamboni, however you must purchase a ticket to attend the game.

Are you hiring?
   At this time the Buccaneers are looking for interns for the 2012-2013 season. Please call Scott Montesano at 278-2827 ext 7027.

Is the arena available for rent?
   Buccaneer Arena is the perfect place to host fun company outings such as
   open skates. It is also available for tournaments and other ice events.

   availability and rates.

Do you offer public skates
   Due to a high volume of activity on the weekends, Buccaneer Arena doesn't
   offer a public skating period. HOWEVER, the Des Moines Buccaneers do
   have regular "post-game skates with the team". Please check the team's
   promotional schedule for more information.

Do you have a pro shop on site?
   There is no pro shop located inside the arena, however Slap Shot hockey 
   is open for business across the street in the Sherwood Forest Shopping
   Center.
