The Quesnel Millionaires are committed to directing players toward the pursuit of higher education. As you move up the hockey ladder, competition to maintain a spot on a team's roster becomes more difficult. Therefore, the best way to prepare for the future is to focus on both hockey and education.

High school age players on the Quesnel Millionaires will be attending Correlieu Sr. Secondary, where the team has forged a unique relationship with the school, its teachers and counselors. That relationship allows players to keep up their grades while missing some class time for road trips.
Players who have already graduated from high school take part in study sessions for SAT tests and are encouraged to take post secondary courses at the College of New Caledonia Campus or the University of Northern BC's satellite campus in Quesnel.
The Millionaires educational advisor's help the players schedule tutorials for their SAT tests, as well as choose their High School and Post-Secondary courses.
"Concentration and the ability to focus are two qualities developed in the classroom situation that I feel really have a definite carryover on the ice. Don't forget hockey is a thinking man's game." Dave King
