THURSDAY
The NCN Flames would once again travel west on a Thursday to take on the OCN Storm at the GLMC. They would come in and double up the Storm, taking an 8-4 win. Supported by a hat trick from Trent North, they would also get goals from Jonathan Saunders (2), Jerome Linklater, Lance Laycock and Keistin Saunders. Kruz Mitchell would make 26 stops in the winning crease. OCN would get goals from Bryson Werbicki-Mallet (2), Noah Butler and Chavez Constant.
Cross Lake would travel over to Norway House to do battle with the North Stars. The Islanders would score early and often skating to a 10-3 win. Led by Wilfred Mcleod (4G, 3A) and Dennis Scatch (3G, 5A) on the scoresheet, they would also see goals from Chris Ross (2G, 2A) and Treyton Monias while Kadin Ross (3 assists) and Clinton Armstong (2 assists) would also pick up multi point nights. Peter Ross would stop 56 of 59 in a winning effort. The North Stars would get goals from Tyler Mckay, Keeshton McKay and Tanner Poker, while Taylor McLeod would stop 39 of 49 in net.
FRIDAY
In a back and forth tilt Friday night in Nelson House, the NCN Flames would skate away with an 11-7 win on home ice over the Peguis Juniors. Goals from Dustin Parker, Jonathon Saunders (2), Jerome Linklater (2), Henry Muchikekwanape (2), Keistin Saunders (2), Michael Markus and Jason Ouskan would help out goaltender Kruz Mitchell while he stopped 28 of 35 in the winning crease. Peguis would get markers from Quinton Flett, Darian Murdock, Ethan Daniels, Nathaniel Murdock and a hat trick from league leader Tyrome Spence in the loss. Tyrese Bear would make 28 saves in net.
SATURDAY
Peguis would return to Nelson House looking for a weekend split, but NCN would put up 8 goals to pace them to an 8-4 win. Henry Muchikekwanape would put together a 5 point afternoon, with 3 goals in the victory. Keistin Saunders, Albert Berard, Michael Markus, Jerome Linklater and Drew Tait-Reaume would add singles. Peguis would see goals off the sticks off Nathaniel Murdock (2), Tyrome Spence and Darian Murdock in the loss.
OCN would trek east to Norway House to take on the North Stars Saturday night at the Kinosao Sipi Rec Centre. The Storm would start strong and put up 14 goals in a 14-5 win. Bryson Werbick-Mallet, Noah Butler and Rylan Bartley would pace the offense, putting up eight, seven and six point nights respectively. Goals from Dion Fontaine, Ron Campbell, Bartley (2), Dreydin Fontaine, Butler (4), Werbicki-Mallet (3) and Hunter Bear (2) while Seth Ngeogan would stop 37 of 42 for the win. The North Stars would get offense from Tyler McKay (2), Roman Muminawatum, Willard Mowat and Theorin Folster. Taylor McLeod would make 24 saves in the loss.
SUNDAY
OCN would travel north on Sunday to take on the Cross Lake Islanders in Cross Lake. In a high scoring affair, the Islanders would skate away with a 13-9 win. Kadin Ross would have himself a great afternoon in putting up 8 points. The Islanders would get goals from Tyler Monias, Justin Dorion (2), Julius Scribe (3), Ross, Dennis Scatch (2), Treyton Monias, Wilfred Mcleod (2) and Chris Ross. Marcus Ross would make 45 saves in picking up the win in net. The Storm would get goals from Hunter Bear, Logan MacDonald, Bryson Werbicki-Mallet (2), Noah Butler (2), Dreydin Fontaine (2) and Rylan Bartley.
