Chiefs 7 vs Dragons 4

That was a good game!  Both goalies were busy.  It was 4-1 for the Chiefs after 2 period, Chris Diabo scored 2 goals while Alex Baron were the only scorer for the Dragons.  3rd period, Chris Diabo add 2 more goals to make it 6-1.  Dragons keep pouring the shots and Andrew Farag got one behind Raweras Two-Axe.  A minute later, Kerri Capstick gets one behind Todd Petkov.  Dragons keep working hard and score 2 goals, Sarah Arsenault and Mike Sylvestre but not enough time.  For the Chiefs, Chris Diabo got 4 goals, 1 assists, Simon Lamoureux 1 goal, 4 assists, Kerri Capstick 1 goal, 2 assists and Sarah Falardeau 1 goal, 1 assist.  For the Dragons, Sarah Arsenault and Andrew Farag got 1 goal, 1 assist, Dominique Rhéault 2 assists.  Game winner goes to Chris Diabo.  Shots: 40-38 for Chiefs.

3 stars:

Reapers 10 vs RoadRunners 3

Reapers got 6 players (plus their goalie).  They had the bullseye and scored with few shot.  Don’t blame the goalie, he was mostly left alone in the third period.  Very good first period, 3-2 for the Reapers with Robert Burnett getting the 3rd goal while Sebastian Sicuso and Dom Gagnon scored for the Roadrunners on Ricky Agnessi.  2nd period, Evan Monk ties it for his team but the Reapers answered with 2 goals, Shawn Kennedy makes it 5-3.  3rd period, it’s all Reapers, they scored 5 goals on only 9 shots on Marc Laplante who could only see the damage while the Roadrunners couldn’t make a shot on net in that period.  On those 5 goals, Stephanie Abado and Robert Burnett got one.  For the Reapers, Stephanie Abado got 1 goal, 4 assists, Robert Burnett 2 goals and Shawn Kennedy 1 goal, 3 assists.  For Roadrunners, Evan Monk got 1 goal, 1 assist, Dom Gagnon and Sebastian Sicuso 1 goal.  Game winner goes to Sub guy.  Shots: 29-15 for Reapers.

1st: Stephanie Abado

The Royals 13 vs Wicked Wabbit 5

No matchup in that game.  Even if the Wabbit got 5 goals on Giorgio Porcari, it was a one side game mostly.  It was already 7-1 for the Royals after one period with Andrew Esdon  already having 4 goals while Ina Garabedian getting the only goal for the Wabbit with a deflection in front of the net.  2nd period, Royals add 3 more goals, one of them a wizzer from Josh Feder while Sal Pistone and Ina Garabedian on a powerplay scored for the Wabbit, it’s 10-3.  3rd period, the Wabbit played better but the Royals manage to shut them down most of the time.  Tony Bergomi makes it 11-5 but the Royals with Katrina Giuliani and Patrick Grenier replied and there was no hope for a comeback.  For the Royals, Nichelle Hocaloski got 2 goals, 5 assists, Josh Feder 2 goals, 4 assists, Andrew Esdon 4 goals, 1 assist, Katrina Giuliani 2 goals, 3 assists, Mike Nols 1 goal, 4 assists and Noémie Dutil 2 assists.  For the Wicked Wabbit, Ina Garabedian got 2 goals, 1 assist, Hamed Sedeghi 3 assists and Sal Pistone 1 goal, 1 assist.  Game winner goes to Patrick Grenier.  Shots: 52-17 for The Royals.

3 stars:
1st: Nichelle Hocaloski
2nd: Josh Feder
3rd: Andrew Esdon

MadJacks 10 vs Left Shark 0

Another game with a domination.  Not a lot of shots for Madjacks, they scored on most of their chances.  Left Sharks goalie (Sagar Modi was sub goalie for them) was left out to dry against a team too strong. It was a second game in a row for Sagar in nets…after getting peppered big time against the Royals, he was surely tired…This game finished with the 10 goals differential with 47 seconds left in the 2nd period.  Darren Egett played another solid game, getting a shutout with 17 saves.  For Madjacks, Adam Aberback and Jeremy Lang got 2 goals, 3 assists, Uri Cruz and Sonia St-Martin 1 goal, 3 assists, Alicia Hughes 2 goals, 1 assist.  Game winner goes to Nicholas Ste-Croix.  Shots: 28-17 for MadJacks.

3 stars:
1st: Adam Aberback
2nd: Sonia St-Martin
3rd: Uri Cruz

WiiUnFit 6 vs JBombers 2

It was a closer game than the score indicate.  Too bad, most of the JBombers shots were wide.  Both goalies, yours truly and Randy Beaver played solid.  WiiUnFit scored first with a powerplay goal by Jonathan Mason when he intercepts the ball from behind the net and put it fast between me and the post, I was not expecting that.  2nd period, Chi Yen Lim ties it with a good deflection in front of the net that gets behind Randy Beaver.  WiiUnFit came back with 3 goals: Andrew Mason work hard in front of the net and scored after a third or fourth rebound, Mary Maglieri received an pass in the air in front of the net and tap it mid-air behind me and she scores another one when Jonathan Mason misses his shot but the rebound from behind the net get right on the stick of Mary on the other side of the net, it’s 4-1.  3rd period, Vince Blanco gives some hope when he scores on a good shot.  But time goes on, WiiUnFit resist.  JBombers pull their goalie out and Jonathan Mason scores in the empty net and with 10 seconds left, I just left out a hole and Jonathan Mason put it in.  Nice shot!  For WiiUnFit, Jonathan Mason got 3 goals, 1 assist, Mary Maglieri 2 goals, 2 assists and Stéphane Laplante-Bélanger 2 assists.  For JBombers, Vince Blanco and Chi Yen Lim got 1 goal.  Game winner goes to Mary Maglieri.  Shots: 31-19 for WiiUnFit.

3 stars:
1st: Jonathan Mason
2nd Mary Maglieri
3rd: Chi Yen Lim
