Quesnel Millionaires
Mills come up with their best effort of the series
- Submitted by

The Quesnel Millionaires gave it all they had, but ended up losing to Penticton 4-3 in Overtime and the Vees now lead the best of seven series 3-0. The Mills were 11.8 seconds away from a victory, but Logan Johnston popped in a rebound shot to tie the game to send it to overtime.  Joey Holka got the winner as he broke through the Quesnel defence and from his knees, put the puck through Adam Harris at 5:32.

Quesnel had taken a 3-2 lead at 10:50 of the third on a goal from Spencer Graboski (2) on a beautiful set up from Shawn Mueller and Daryl deVries.  Penticton's Joey Benik had tied the game at 2 with a goal 59 seconds after Quesnel had taken a 2-1 lead to open the third.  Quesnel got their second from Shawn Mueller(2) unassisted.

Quesnel opened the scoring as Chris Kerr (1) gathered in a rebound at 9:47 with assists to Malcolm Gould and Rigby Burgart on the only power play goal of the game.  The Vees tied the game in the second with an early goal at 3:28 from James Polk.

Penticton out shot Quesnel 50-26 over all.  The Millionaires have an uphill climb now, as they trail in the series 3-0 with game 4 tomorrow night at 7pm.
