PJHL ISSUES STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO HOCKEY CANADA
- Submitted by

PORT MOODY, March 12, 2020 - Pacific Junior Hockey League president Ray Stonehouse released the following statement today regarding Hockey Canada’s decision to cancel all Hockey Canada-sanctioned activities until further notice, due to concerns over COVID-19.

“The PJHL fully respects Hockey Canada’s decision to cancel all Hockey Canada-sanctioned activities. This announcement effectively suspends play of the 2020 PJHL Finals between the Aldergrove Kodiaks and the North Vancouver Wolf Pack. The safety of our players, staff, volunteers and our fans is of utmost priority.

We would like to thank the staff and players of the Kodiaks, Wolf Pack and all our teams for their dedication this season and cooperation with this matter. We would also like to thank our fans for their support all year long. We will provide more information as it becomes available, and we wish everyone in our communities good health."
