Futures Game Recap
Another match-up of Blue against White in the Futures Game and even though Blue was victorious by a score of 4-0, neither team would look particularly dominating. The game looked fairly evenly matched for almost the entire first half and the shot attempts were about equal for both teams. This, however, would not keep Blue from grabbing a 2-0 lead over White by the end of the half. It would be Ruslan Rakhmatov finding Zach Jordan for the score and Blue would have the lead with 18 minutes left in the half. Just a two minutes later Nik Rados scored again for Blue to give them a 2-0 lead.

The second period would be much of the same. The Blue goalies would rarely be challenged by White shots. Mitch Martigan and Frankie Spellman would both add late goals to give the Blue side their final two tallies.

All-Star Game #2
Blue continued their dominance over White early in this game and would carry it on to another 7-2 victory. The first period would be a rough one for White as they went into intermission down 4-0. Blue got some more great play from Collin Delia in the net as he made a stellar save to stop Joe Gambardella and keep White off the board in the first period. Blue on the other hand would have no trouble scoring as Duggie Lagrone got Blue on the board just 4:40 into the game. Christian Lampasso would follow with another about four minutes later and Blue led 2-0. Playing with confidence after their first two goals, Blue would not look back as Michael Marnell scored the third for Blue and Michael Sabatini on an assist from Lampasso would net the fourth tally with 26 seconds left in the period to go to intermission up 4-0.
White would again be the first to score in the second period as Joe Gambardella scored just 1:14 into the period to make it 4-1. Blue would respond strongly as Michael Marnell added his second goal of the contest to put Blue up 5-1. That score would hold going into the second intermission.

The third period would once again produce a lot of goals. Max Birkibine scored for White as they drew slightly closer now being down 5-2. Blue kept on the attack and would extend their lead again shortly after White scored. It was Ryan Galt with the score to put Blue up 6-2. Jack Jenkins would then get an empty net goal with less than two minutes to go in the game and Blue would win by a score of 7-2.
