Joe enjoys life to the fullest however, last season would have been a grind for anyone. Joe came into the season - his 2nd in the VIJHL - looking to improve from the year before and for the first number of games he was probably the best player on the Club. Although he was not piling up the points, the speedy centreman was making an impact every game. He ran into a high ankle sprain early in the season and that put him on the shelf for an extended amount of time. He only played a few games when he came back and then ran into a medical issue. This year will be a different story! He was an accomplished ball player and, in hockey, was invited to the WHL camp by the Seattle Thunderbirds. You can expect a big year from him!
“Jordan (Neufeld) played his best hockey of the season over the past six weeks,” says Comox Valley Glacier Kings’ Head Coach, Jeff Dubois of the VIJHL Player of the Week (February 17-22). “On top of being our top offensive player, he brings a physical presence and puts in a lot of work on special teams. He was the driving force in our win on Monday over Campbell River and has scored a number of big goals this month.”
