Fraser Auchterlonie comes to the Panthers as a gift from the Hockey Gods. His father is in the Military and was posted in Victoria several years ago when he was moved to Ottawa. He was moved back in the summer and Fraser landed right on the Panthers’ doorstep. The stocky centre will be a fan favourite, there is no doubt about that. Fraser considers himself a 200 ft hockey player and that cannot be denied. He plays physical, takes care of his own end and can play-make and score. He does not turn 17 until late in December and still has a ton of room to grow as a player. He lists his parents Tammy and Bob as his two biggest influences in his life, they are also his biggest fans. His older brother Michael attends UVIC. Welcome Fraser!
“Jordan (Neufeld) played his best hockey of the season over the past six weeks,” says Comox Valley Glacier Kings’ Head Coach, Jeff Dubois of the VIJHL Player of the Week (February 17-22). “On top of being our top offensive player, he brings a physical presence and puts in a lot of work on special teams. He was the driving force in our win on Monday over Campbell River and has scored a number of big goals this month.”
