In today’s society it seems that people just don’t care about anyone but themselves these days. We as athletes sometimes take our own health for granted.  To be able to lace up the skates and take the ice is a luxury that not everyone can enjoy.  Just as your dream may have been to make it to the NHL, some have dreams of simply going through the day without pain, or being able to walk.  The SCHL is fully aware that we are privileged and blessed to be able to play this fine sport and would like to give something to those who are less fortunate than we are. 

Breast Cancer and Neurofibromatosis are two very unfortunate diseases that strike more people that you would think.  Did you know that 1 out of every 3,000 people suffer from NF?  The numbers for breast cancer are just as staggering, we are positive that this has hit close to your homes. 

The SCHL would like to make donations to help research these two diseases, in an effort to find a cure.  A portion of all advertising dollars generated from the SCHL will be donated to the Neurofibromatosis and Breast Cancer research.  This is a chance to help people attain their dreams and a chance to get your company name out there.
