POLICIES & CODE OF CONDUCT (PDF)

New Changes Starting Season 2010

- Due to the successful growth of the Heat program in a short period of time, the Executive of the KHSHC has decided to implement a Code of Conduct for all coaches, managers, team staff, parents and players of Heat teams. The Code has been adopted after careful consideration and will be mandatory for each member to review and sign prior to the start of each season.
- Also being implemented will be an annual review of all Heat teams by the Executive to ensure the coaching and managing staff are prepared and committed to develop a successful spring team in the short season available. Success is not measured by winning at any cost but by the ability of our teams to compete at the AAA level as well as player development.Winning is a result of hard work and effort, fun and enjoyment of the game (by the players!).
- The Executive will annually review with the managers of all Heat teams the expectations that the KHSHC has towards the operation of each Heat team under the Society. The team budget and reporting will be a big part of these discussions.
The Executive feel that these changes will further strengthen our spring hockey program and provide young hockey players with the opportunity to experience further development. We look to provide an acknowledged framework for individual teams to participate in spring at the highest level possible.

The KHSHC welcomes new teams
