Introductory Clinic - Grassroots
This program is for those who desire to become a goaltender. 
Equipment will be made available as applicable.

Level 1

For those who have successfully completed the Introductory Clinic

Drills have been built around our list of 10 scoring chances and are designed to challenge each goaltender with a game-like feel, while still paying attention to proper form and the fundamentals of our position.

1. Agility skating (crease movement and edges)
2. Upper body saves (skills with glove, blocker and chest saves in various scenarios)
3. Lower body saves (skills with stick and pad saves in various scenarios)
4. Net orientation (understanding the 3 elements of a goalie’s crease positioning: angle, squareness and depth)
5. Below goal line plays (patience on your feet, option awareness and post work)
6. Box control (understanding the true size of the open space that you are covering, based on what a puck “sees” in proximity to the net and goaltender at any given moment)
7. Goalie IQ (playing with patience, option awareness and trust in your reads on shots/passes)

Level 2

Enhancing/Building on the skils of Level 1 

1. Avanced skating
2. Eye Skills
3. Advanced Hands
4. Advanced Puck Handling

Level 3
While continue to master the skills in Level 1 and 2 skills related to the following are taught;

1. Defensive Team Play
2. Offensive Team Play
3. Hockey Sense
