Two matters of business for our upcoming road trip to Sherwood Park.

#1.  We will be taking a bus that will be departing from the standard location on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1:30pm.  There will be extra room on the bus for parents, family and friends, and the cost for each of them is $40.00 round trip.

#2.  The team has made arrangements for a group booking at the Sandman Hotel in Sherwood Park (address and contact information found below).  The team pays for the rooms for the players, coaches and bus driver. For those parents, family members, and friends that would also like to stay with us at the same hotel, you can receive a preferred rate for the room provided you mention that you are with the group "2410 Calgary Titans" (the group block ID is 450150 under my name) when booking the room.  If you have any other questions, or special requests please contact the hotel directly.

Day 1: Thursday, September 5; on ice at 9:00 - 10:15

Day 2: Tuesday, September,10; on ice at 9:15 - 10:30

Day 3: Thursday, September 12; on ice at 9:15 - 10:30

Day 4: Tuesday, September 17; on ice at 9:00 - 10:15 - FINAL GUARANTEED EVALUATION SKATE

Day 5: Thursday, September 19; on ice at 9:00 - 10:15 - SELECTED PLAYERS BONUS EVALUATION SKATE

Day 6: Thursday, September 26; on ice start at 9:00 - 10:15 - SELECTED PLAYERS FINAL BONUS EVALUATION SKATE



IMPORTANT MATTERS



1. Try-outs are fully open, no positions guaranteed.

2. Pre-registration on line through website is preferred, or registration may be made at time of event (please arrive in plenty of time prior to on ice start).

3. Evaluation  fee cost is $100.00 non-refundable, and includes 4 guaranteed try-out evaluation skates (days 1-4); and, 2 bonus skates for selected players (days 5-6).

4. Evaluation fee payment to be paid by eTransfer (sparrow@calgarytitanshockey.ca) which is preferred, or through website at time of registration with credit card, or cash at time of event.

5. Players that have played for another Alberta Junior Female Hockey League Team must obtain a Player Release or Permission to Try-out from the previous team before participating.

6. All players will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability and Release of the Calgary Titans Junior Female Hockey Team and its staff, coaches and other team personal prior to participating in the try-out skates.

7. Players selected to play for the Calgary Titans agree that their names can be submitted to Hockey Alberta for transfer as a registered player of the Calgary Titans without any further authority unless they have clearly indicated otherwise to the coaches or staff,  before the first bonus skate (day 5).

** Underage players (17 on December 31) must be  released from their previous midget team/association; and, 4 overage players (age 22 on December 31) can be placed on the roster.
