TEAM SASK ANNOUNCES ROSTER
- Submitted by
Hockey Saskatchewan has announced the 20 athletes who will represent the province at the 2025 Under-18 (U18) Women’s National Championship, taking place November 2-8 in Mount Pearl and Conception Bay South, N.L.
Team Saskatchewan’s roster features a mix of returning players and new talent eager to make their mark on the national stage. Nine athletes are back from last year’s tournament: Ayden Kehrig (Bjorkdale), Danelle Steffen (Melfort), Anneka Aspaas (Melville), Halle Duchene (Saskatoon), Alida Korte (Saskatoon), Kendal Leader (Emerald Park), Katelyn Marshall (Regina), Sarah McNabb (Rabbit Lake), and Raela Packet (Lafleche).
Behind the bench, Team Saskatchewan will be guided by head coach Alana Serhan, who returns after leading the squad last season. She is joined by assistant coach Paige Sandvold, also back for a second straight year, and Courtney Mish, who steps into an assistant coaching role after serving as video coach in 2024.
Rounding out the 2025 staff is goalie/video coach Samantha Ridgewell, making her debut at the competition following her experience coaching in the Sask First Female Under-16 Program. The team is supported by equipment manager Wes Serhan, athletic therapist Emma Galloway, and mental performance consultant Kyle McDonald.
