PLAYOFF SCHEDULE AND PREVIEW

With the completion of the KJHL regular season, teams are gearing up for some highly anticipated playoff action. With their first regular season in the books, the NCN Flames claimed their first ever 'Carillon Cup' as regular season champions with 23 wins, 7 losses and 2 overtime losses. Led by Henry Muchikekwanape with a solid 44 goals and 82 points and being backstopped by Braedin Melstad who led the league in save percentage with a sparkling .860%.

Wrapping up second place were the OCN Storm with an above .500 winning percentage in 20 wins and 12 losses. Bryson Werbicki-Mallet led the charge for the Storm putting up 41 goals and 48 assists in just 25 games. Braxton Constant was solid in the crease as well, winning 14 of his 20 appearances with a .845% save percentage.

Securing third place in the final weekend of the season, the Peguis Juniors with 18 wins, 13 losses and 1 overtime loss. Peguis was led by the scoring machine that was Tyrome Spence. Spence led the league in goals with 74 in 25 games. He also put up a whopping 121 points in the process. Goaltender Drey Flett picked up 11 wins in his 16 appearances putting up a solid .844% save percentage in the process.

The Cross Lake Islanders finished the season in 4th place this season, finishing with a .500 record with 16 wins and 16 losses. They were led by leading scorer Dennis Scatch, who put up 22 goals and 56 assists. Marcus Ross led the way in net winning 7 of his 12 games putting up a respectable .855% save percentage.

The Norway House North Stars finished the season in fifth place, but will be looking to make some noise in the postseason. Finishing with a 3-28-1 record, they were led by Tyler McKay who put up 14 goals and 16 assists in just 18 games. Tanner Poker wasn't far behind putting up 29 points of his own in 26 games.

The winner of the best of three survivor series will take on the NCN Flames in Semifinal Series - Series 3.

The KJHL Championship Final (Series 4) will begin on Saturday April 4th, 2020 and will be completed by Saturday April 18th, 2020. The winner of the KJHL Championship Final will represent the KJHL at the Keystone Cup Border Battle, which is being hosted this year by the Thunder Bay Fighting Walleye at the Tournament Center in Thunder Bay, Ontario from April 23rd to 26th, 2020.
