Royals 10 vs Dragons 3

Royals got the bullseye in that game, scoring lots of goals with not too many shots.  Royals got to a 3-1 lead with Nichelle Hocaloski scoring the first goal of the night.  2nd period, it’s all Royals with 4 goals.  3rd period, Rick Modi scores his 2nd of the night to make it 8-1.  Jessica Ethier replies for the Dragons.  Royals scores 2 more goals, 2nd by Nichelle Hocaloski and Mike Nols.  Rich Cheong will score the last goal of the game for the Dragons.  For the Royals, Nichelle Hocaloski got 2 goals, 3 assists, Rick Modi 2 goals, 2 assists, Shayna Trainor 3 assists.  For the Dragons, Rich Cheong got 1 goal, 1 assist, Jessica Ethier 1 goal.  Game winner goes to Andrew Esdon. Shots: 29-24 for Royals.

MadJacks 7 vs RoadRunners 2

MadJacks just dominate this game. Roadrunners poor on the shots on Marc Laplante while Darren Egett got an easy game.  He will take it!  Game was close after one period, Errol Allen opens the score for the Roadrunners.  With 3 seconds left, Alicia Hughes ties it.  2nd period, it’s all MadJacks with 4 goals, 2 by Elliot Chinerman, Uri Cruz and Adam Aberback, it’s 5-1.  3rd period, Pascale Gougeon makes it 6-1.  3 minutes later, Evan Monk scores for the Roadrunners but they will be out of time.  MadJacks scores the last one when Nicholas Ste-Croix got the goal.  For MadJacks, Elliot Chinerman got 2 goals, 2 assists, Nicholas Ste-Croix 1 goal, 2 assists.  For Roadrunners, Evan Monk and Errol Allen got 1 goal.  Game winner goes to Elliot Chinerman.  Shots: 40-12 for MadJacks.

Left Shark 4 vs Dolce Banana 3 (2-1 in shootout)

Game of the night!  Left Shark goalie Martin Champagne stole that game to give his team their first win of the season.  Dolce Banana’s goalie Santino Catalano played a solid game, mostly in the third period but was beaten in the shootout making partial save on the 2 goals he gave.  Left Shark opens the score with Sleedge Charles-Pierre’s goal.  Dolce Banana replies with 3 goals, Perry Stroumbakis on a powerplay, Benji Teboul and Pat Salvo, it’s 3-1 after one period.  2nd period, Lynda Domazet scores with 34 seconds left for Left Shark, it’s 3-2.  3rd period, Sleedge Charles-Pierre ties that game 3-3.  Overtime was dominate by Dolce Banana but couldn’t score on Martin Champagne.  Shootout, it took 6 rounds to get a winner, Frank Kachanoff gets the game winning goal.  For Left Shark, Sleedge Charles-Pierre got 2 goals, Lynda Domazet 1 goal.  For Dolce Banana, Perry Stroumbakis got 1 goal, 1 assist, Pat Salvo and Benji Teboul 1 goal.  Shots: 49-26 for Dolce Banana.

WiiUnFit 6 vs Studs 4

Rough game.  Studs got so close but WiiUnFit’s offensive is strong but it was Jonathan Mason’s night.  Studs open the score with Erik Heft’s goal that was deflected in front of Adam Proulx’s net. 2nd period, Mary Maglieri ties the game when she took a rebound in front of the net and Jonathan Mason makes it 2-1 for WiiUnFit.  3rd period, after 45 seconds, Stéphanie Faludi ties the game 2-2.  4 minutes later, Jonathan Mason gives back the lead to WiiUnFit.  With 6 minutes left, Yannick Vanasse ties it once again for the Studs, it’s 3-3.  With 2:30 left, Jonathan Mason scores 2 in 30 seconds on of those goals his from a nice deke that gets thru Filip Myszak, and it’s 5-3.  Studs won’t give up and Yannick Vanasse makes it 5-4 with 1:20 left.  With 40 seconds left, Jonathan Mason from his team zone scores an empty net goal.  For WiiUnFit, Jonathan Mason got 5 goals, Celia Nguyen and Randy Beaver 3 assists.  For Studs, Yannick Vanasse got 2 goals, 1 assist, Stéphanie Faludi and Erik Heft 1 goal.  Game winner goes to Jonathan Mason.  Shots: 29-16 for WiiUnFit.

JBombers 5 vs Reapers 2

Once again, JBombers got to a strong start but had problems in the third period, but yours truly manage to make the saves and, by the process, hurt a knee. Reapers goalie Ricky Agnessi played a solid game.  He couldn’t do nothing on those 5 goals and manage to rob Ajit Gill, Kristin Portwine, Aman Rai a couple of time.  JBombers open the score when Aman Rai gets a solid shot.  2nd period, 4 goals for the JBombers, 2 by Sagar Modi, Kristin Porwine on a nice tic-tac-toe and Chi Yen Lim, it’s 5-0.  3rd period, Reapers finally gets on board, Stephanie Abado receives a nice pass and shot in the empty net, well, yours truly attempts the diving saves but got to a stick and the ball manages to go behind me.  A few minutes later, yours truly injured his knee by making a nice save.  After that, Leanne Hills scores on a precise shot on the side that should have been stop, it’s 5-2.  JBombers resists until the end.  For Jbombers, Sagar Modi got 2 goals, 1 assist, Chi Yen Lim and Aman Rai 1 goal, 1 assist and Costa Fragiudakis 2 assists.  For Reapers, Leanne Hills and Stephanie Abado got 1 goal, Robert Burnett 2 assists.  Game winner goes to Sagar Modi.  Shots: 25-24 for the Reapers.
