Enfants Terribles 6 vs Purple Nurples 4

Two of the top team clashes together.  Huge win for Enfants Terribles.  Scott Bailey opens the score for les Enfants, but a minute later, Benji Teboul ties it.  After that, les Enfants scored 4 goals to get a 5-1 lead: Nick Nault, Scott Bailey, Anthony Manouk and red hot Nina Bienz.  2^nd period, the Nurples got back in the game with 2 goals in the beginning of the period: Ryan Strauss and Melissa Mancini, it’s 5-3.  Minutes later, Scott Bailey gets his third of the night.  With less than 8 minutes left, Rita Capaldi scores for the Nurples and that match is still on.  Les Enfants won’t allowed anything and get that win.

For Enfants Terribles: Scott Bailey got 3 goals, 2 assists, Nick Nault and Nina Bienz 1 goal, 1 assist, Dave Kaiser 2 assists, Franzi Kaiser and Carey-Ann Pawsey 1 assist.  For Nurples: Benji Teboul got 1 goal, 1 assist, Ryan Strauss, Melissa Mancini and Rita Capaldi 1 goal, Stéphanie Abado and Joe d’Intino 1 assist.  Nurples are 0 for 2 on powerplay and Enfants Terribles are 0 for 1.  Shots: 38-28 for Enfants Terribles.

Angry Pop Tarts 9 vs Savages 2

Another offensive night for Pop Tarts.  Also, they contained Jordan Bateman who couldn’t score a goal (rarely happens to him).  First period was close, it was 3-1 for Pop Tarts.  2^nd period saw the Pop Tarts go for 6 goals while Courtney Legault reply with 30 seconds left in the game for the Savages.  Who’s gonna give their first loss of the season to Angry Pop Tarts?

For Pop Tarts: Simon Lamoureux got 3 goals, 5 assists, Raffaella Tropea 4 assists, Josh Redler 2 goals, Celia Nguyen and Joel Labadie 1 goal, 2 assists, Stephanie Faludi and Monika Estrella 1 goal, 1 assist and Adam Proulx 1 assist.  For Savages: Marie-Andrée Giguère and Courtney Legault got 1 goal, Jordan Bateman, Kerry Maclaine and Jennifer Marton 1 assist.  Angry Pop Tarts are 1 for 2 on powerplay and Savages are 0 for 1.  Shots: 39-29 for Pop Tarts.

Puck Friends 10 vs Hired Gunz 2

Short roster for both team, (6 players for Puck F. and 5 players for Gunz), but it hurts more for the Gunz as the only got 1 fast runner with Alex Van Zeebroeck for the men.  Yes, they played with 2 men and 3 women, so it was only a matter of time for Puck Friends to control that game.  It was 4-2 after one period with 2 goals by Conrad Collins (one on powerplay) and 2 goals by sub player Bruno Gosselin.  Reply came from Sherry Page who scored on rebounds in front of the net.  2^nd period: it’s all Puck Friends with 6 goals, most of them on precise shots or rebounds in front of the net: 3 by Bruno Gosselin, 2 by Paul Tomiuk and one by Tamara Paice.

For Puck Friends: Bruno Gosselin got 5 goals, 1 assist, Paul Tomiuk 2 goals, 3 assists, Conrad Collins 2 goals, 2 assists, Tamara Paice 1 goal and Marie-Anne Grassino 1 assist.  For Gunz: Sherry Page got 2 goals, Tom Page and Diana Tourneur 1 assist.  Puck Friends are 1 for 1 on powerplay and Gunz are 0 for 2.  Puck Friends have a shorthanded goal (Tamara Paice).  Shots: 38-28 for Puck Friends.

Les Sauvages 7 vs Knights 5

Huge win for Les Sauvages.  Yours truly played his second game and it was not his best game but kudos to les Sauvages who profit to score some timely goals in front of the net.  Sauvages got to a 2-0 lead with the 2 goals by Vincent Vachon.  John Wong reply for the Knights with a shot that deflected in front of the net.  2 minutes later, Steven Farber crashes the net and hit the ball, beating the defenseman to give back a 2 goals lead.  Minutes later, Randy Beaver gets his precise shot that beat Shoaib Hussain.  Before the end of the period, Vincent Vachon gets his 3^rd of the night with a shot that yours truly couldn’t see, it’s 4-2.  2^nd period: early in the period, Michael Snilner get a good shot top corner that yours truly would love to see again.  Minutes later, Mia Côté scored unassisted with a good backhand in front of the net.  Randy Beaver reply with a good shot but 2 minutes later, Steven Farber when he won the battle in front of the net and manage to shoot and got in.  Randy Beaver reply once again with 2 goals to make it 7-5.  Knights pull their goalie with 90 seconds left, but les Sauvages resist and win that game.

For les Sauvages: Mia Côté got 1 goal, 4 assists, Vincent Vachon 3 goals, Michael Snilner 1 goal, 3 assists, Steven Farber 2 goals.  For the Knights: Randy Beaver got 4 goals, Mélanie Boulanger 2 assists, John Wong 1 goal and Chelsea Moreno 1 assist.  Sauvages are 0 for 1 on powerplay.  Shots: 26-19 for Sauvages.
