Played 3 seasons in the SJHL from
2008 to 2011 for : Melville
Millionaires & Melfort Mustangs.

Played 1 season in the Southern
Professional Hockey League (SPHL)
for the Louisiana Ice Gators in
2011/12.

In 2011-2012 Metz was named to the
SPHL All-Rookie Team.

From 2012 to 2014, Metz would play
for 4 teams in 4 leagues including :
Dayton Demonz (FPHL), Fort Wayne
Komets (ECHL), Bloomington Blaze
(CHL) & then back to the Louisiana
Ice Gators (SPHL)
