Evan played minor hockey with Langley Girls and with the Meadow Ridge Barracudas. She also played for the Fraser Valley Phantom (FV Rush) when the Female Midget AAA program and league was started in 2008. Evan completed the Bachelor of Education program at UBC Okanagan in the Spring of 2016 and is teaching grade 7 in the Langley School District.
