The Rulebook and Registration Procedures  <style>  style> head> <body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple style='tab-interval:.5in'> <div class=Section1> <h1 align=center style='text-align:center'>The Rulebook and Registration Procedures<o:p>o:p>span>h1> All teams that compete in the Coastal Cup Tournament Series are required to be members of USA Hockey Inline (USAHIL), a national sanctioning organization. Coastal Cup follows the <a href="http://www.usahockey.com/inline/main/rules/inline_officialrules/" title="USA Hockey Inline Rule Book">USA Hockey Inline Rule Booka> with some slight modifications. In addition to member benefits, USAHIL provides sanctioning and player insurance. USAHIL registration costs $25 per player per year and should be done online at the USA Hockey Web site. span>Online registration provides players and coaches with an instantaneous registration number. span>Teams who only want to play in one Coastal Cup tournament may register as "Weekend Warriors" ($10 per player, but only provides benefits for the one weekend tournament). However, Weekend Warrior registration is very paperwork-intensive and therefore regular full-year membership is required for all teams who will participate in more than one tournament.<o:p>o:p>span>p> At the first tournament in which a team competes, Coastal Cup will enter all team and player information into a database (see "Credentialing" section below). From that point on, no further paperwork will be required on any of those players. This should tremendously reduce the paperwork hassles traditionally endured by coaches and team managers. Collect the paperwork once, give it to Coastal Cup and you're done for the rest of the year. span>Additionally, Coastal Cup will make the list of credentialed players available on our web site.<o:p>o:p>span>p> Coastal Cup has published a notice regarding its policy on the types of teams that should be playing in Coastal Cup tournaments.
