TUESDAY

Cross Lake hit the road to do battle with the Norway House North Stars, in hopes of keeping them winless on the season. Logan Evans would do most of the heavy lifting for the Islanders in the first period, scoring twice in 43 seconds to stake them to a 2-0 lead after one. Roman Muminawatum would get the North Stars on the board, but Justin Dorion would restore the two goal lead midway through the second. Elvis Balfour would close the gap back to one goal a few minutes later to reduce the Islanders lead to 3-2 after 40 minutes. Tanner Poker would tie things up just 35 seconds into the third period, but Brayden Whiskey would reply shortly after to restore the a goal advantage. Elvis Balfour would then get his second on the night, tieing things up a four. A late powerplay would cost the North Stars, as Wilfred Mcleod would put Cross Lake up 5-4. They would clamp down defensively after that, and also add an empty netter from Quinton Scatch to help them escape with a 6-4 victory. Marcus Ross would get the win in goal for Cross Lake stopping 34 of 38, while Dominic Berniitic would be dealt the loss stopping 33 of 39.

FRIDAY

Cross Lake would hit the road to Thompson to take on the NCN Flames. NCN would score early and often, and would skate to a 10-1 victory on home ice. Goals off the sticks of Trent North (3), Henry Muchikekwanape (2), Jonathan Saunders, Keistin Saunders, Michael Venne (2) and Albert Berard coupled with Bradin Melstad stopping 37 of 38 would give the Flames two points. Marcus Ross would be dealt the loss and Dennis Scatch would break the shutout late in the third period, but it wouldn't be enough in handing the Islanders thier 4th loss on the year.

SATURDAY

The Gilbert McDonald Arena in Nelson House would welcome the Cross Lake Islanders for an early afternoon tilt Saturday, as they would battle the NCN Flames in a Friday rematch. Both teams would have great success on the man advantage with Cross Lake going 2 for 3, and NCN going 3 for 5 which would stake the Flames to another victory, skating to a 12-4 win. Goals from Lance Laycock (2 - one on the powerplay), Keith Blacksmith (2), James Moore, Keistin Saunders, Jonathon Saunders (on the powerplay), Trent North, Henry Muchikekwanape (3 - one on the powerplay) and Albert Berard. Cross Lake would respond with tallies from Armando Evans (2 - one on the powerplay), Dixon Thomas and Quinton Scatch (on the powerplay). Kruz Mitchell would stop 23 of 27 to pick up the win for NCN, while Peter Ross would be dealt the loss.

The OCN Storm would hit the road to Peguis to do battle with the Peguis Juniors. In a back-and-forth contest that would be decided in overtime, the Storm would skate to a 6-5 win. Both teams were effective on the powerplay with OCN scoring on 50% of their chances, while the Juniors would score twice on the man advantage firing up a 67% success rate. Chavez Constant would pot the winner with just 1:48 left. Also scoring for OCN would be Werbicki-Mallet (2 - one on the powerplay), Noah Butler, Logan MacDonald and Dion Fontaine. Peguis would get goals off the sticks of Spence, Travis McPherson, Shane Bear (on the powerplay), Nathaniel Murdock and Ethan Daniels (on the powerplay). Braxton Constant would stop 32 of 37 to secure the win for the Storm, while Nolan Favel would stop 38 of 44 for the Juniors.

SUNDAY

Peguis would play host to the OCN Storm in a Sunday afternoon contest at the Peguis Multiplex. Seventeen goals would be put on the board in this high scoring affair, seeing the Storm skate away with a 10-7 win. Braxton Constant would stop 46 of 53 to give the Storm back to back wins in Peguis. He would get goal support from Dion Fontaine (3 - one shorthanded), Logan MacDonald (3 - one on the powerplay), Noah Butler (3) and Creighton Sinclair with one. Peguis would respond with markers from Tyrome Spence (4), Nathaniel Murdock (on the powerplay), Travis McPherson (also on the powerplay) and Ethan Daniels.
