Don't be a Dick !!!

In what was a fiesty and physical battle between the Iceholes and Sunshines, the incident took place last Thursday evening after an innocent scrum in the corner turned sideways ... On an innocent play, Hidvegi and an Iceholes player got tied up and took the lumber to each other... as the play moved up ice both players took liberties and once out of the referee's view ... this DICK ... lined up his opponents head and took a 2 handed swing for the fence ... NOT COOL ...Initially the incident was not seen by either referee and went uncalled during gameplay. 

The incident was witnessed by a few BHL veterans and several community members that brought this incident to the attention of Hockey House Management.

TO BE CLEAR ... Any form of intent to injure by a memeber towards another member in the Hockey House on/off the ice ... will NOT be tolorated or go unpunished ...

AS SUCH ...

The Hockey House with testimony from witnesses and the cooperation from both franchises involved have decided to punish the intent rather than the result in this particular incident .... and we are very happy that that is the case. One witness stated "Had he connected on it .. that guy would have been seriously injured". As a result ...

Sunshines forward Róbert Hidvégi has been dealt a ONE ROUND suspension from the Hockey House front office and disiplinary panel. Hidvégi is Suspended until Oct 28th for Intent to Injure  ( he is suspended for both Sunshines affliated clubs). In addition, to the suspension, his reinstatement also cannot be completed without a verbal apology to the victim he afflicted on the play.

Uh Oh ... Do we have a DICK IN TRAINING ? 

Les Bucherons defenceman Will Berger has started the regular season with a new Hockey House record 12mins in PIMs and being ejected from 2 consecutive FHL games ... Although Berger has been known to contribute offensively this season his play has begun to reflect an overtly aggressive DICK with no self control... Hopefully he can clean up his act in the coming weeks ... because noone enjoys winning the DICK Trophy !!!
