The 1st LIVE Competitive Ice- Hockey in a LONG TIME !!!

         Auckland, NZ, May 29, 2020 – The Hockey House is pleased to announce the resumption of the 2019-2020 Backyard Hockey League and Frontyard Hockey League Finals.

       After postponing the Final Series due to COVID-19, The New Zealand based Hockey House is beyond excited to be one of the select few organizations to hit the Ice after a long unplanned hiatus. As such, both Final series will begin Sunday, May 31^st, 2020 with Game One of the FHL Finals between the SAUCE & Les COQS at 5pm followed by TOP CHEESE & Les CASTORS at 7pm.

         In an Unprecedented move of comeraderie, The Hockey House will team up with the NZIHL & the team from the Puck Yeah! Podcast to present both Best of Five Series with a LIVE broadcast on our YouTube Channel.

                      HOCKEY HOUSE  FINALS Schedule

Game One - Sunday 31st    FHL -  5:00pm - BHL- 7:00pm NZT  /  12:00am - 2:00am EST

Game Two - Tues 2nd          FHL -  7:15pm - BHL - 8:45pm NZT   /  3:15am - 4:45am EST

Game Three - Thurs 4th       FHL -  7:15pm - BHL - 8:45pm NZT   /  3:15am - 4:45am EST

Game Four - Tues 9th          FHL -  7:15pm - BHL - 8:45pm NZT   /  3:15am - 4:45am EST

Game Five – TBD

*All Games will feature play by play commentating and include Player Introductions, Music, Player Interviews, Advertisements from our NZ Ice Hockey Community Sponsors and other great additions*.

Both Final Series will be contested in accordance with Government regulations and under the supervision of Hockey House Officials and Paradice Ice Skating Avondale Staff to ensure that all safety measures are followed thoroughly and participants are as safe as possible while participating.
