Tonight's Lineups

The Chiefs complete their seven game home stand tonight when they host the BCHL's hottest team, the Nanaimo Clippers.

The Clippers won their seventh straight game last night, a 5-2 decsion in Prince George, and now hold a five point lead over Cowichan atop the Island Division.

The Chiefs won their third straight game last night, a 9-4 home ice win over the Coquitlam Express. Chilliwack remains in first place in the Mainland Division with a one point lead over the Wenatchee Wild. The Wild are in Trail tonight.

The Chiefs will be without the services of forwards Jordan Kawaguchi, Vimal Sukumaran, Kohen Olischefski along with defenseman Dennis Cholowski and goaltender Matteo Esposito tonight. All at Team West's Camp in advance of the World Junior A Challenge which will be held later this month in Ontario.

Making their BCHL debuts for the Chiefs tonight will be 17 year old  forward Jesse Nelson along with 15 year old defenseman Austin Chorney. Both are members of Yale Academy's U18 Prep Team. In 23 games this season Nelson has 12 goals and 14 assists. Chorney is the top scoring defenseman in the CSSHL with eight goals and 12 assists.

Goaltender Gunnar Neilsen of the Mission City Outlaws which also join the Chiefs for tonight's game.
