Pif Home Run Derby Report

Future softball Hall of Famer Doug Roberson won his third Home Run Derby at the Canadian's best softball tournament of the year. The Pif. He won $1000. Doug had to win the title in a playoff against Canadian Todd Carehead of Toronto, Canada and veteran Bobby Gilbert from Houston, Texas. They each got 6 swings in the playoff.Gilbert hit one, Carehead hit two, and Roby had to hit three to win, and he did just that to win it. Doug who isn't playing for anybody this season made the trip to Canada again with the Beloli team out of Taunton, Massachusetts, can still hit and play with the best of them.
