The Bud Light West Coast Senior Hockey League handed out thefirst round of its league awards this past week. As in previous years, the onlyawards handed out were those being awarded to the home teams. As such, only theDeerLake and Clarenville awards werepresented. The Corner Brookand Grand Falls-Windsor awards will be presented this coming weekend.
The following awards were presented in Deer Lake Friday Feb 13th:

-Clarenville Caribous Most Valuable Player – Andrew Pearcey
-Bud Light WCSHL Regular Season Top Goaltender – Jason Churchill
-Bud Light WCSHL Most Gentlemanly and Effective Player –Mark Chaplin
