Privit medical documentation comes to the KIJHL

The Kootenay International Junior Hockey league is leading the way in Junior B Hockey in Canada with the introduction of Privit to the teams this season. Privit allows teams to manage injuries and track the progress and keep everything at the team's medical staff finger tips. We are confident this will help all team's become more efficient and help the player get the best treatment. With the help of Cory Cameron, the league's new chief athletic therapist, who will consult with team's medical staff, and help with the player's rehab where needed.

Revelstoke Grizzlies are the 2019 BC Provincial Cyclone Taylor Cup Champions

Revelstoke Grizzlies are the 2019 BC Provincial Cyclone Taylor Cup Champions

The Grizzlies were nearly perfect in their 2019 playoff run. The swept both Kamloops Storm and 100 Mile House Wranglers 4-0 to win the Birks Div playoff title. Then it was 2 roads wins followed by 2 home loses before winning again on the road and then back at home to take the Okanagan-Shuswap Conference Playoff against league top regular season team the Kelowna Chiefs 4-2. Making for a KIJHL finals rematch against the Kimberley Dynamiters. The Nitros were KIJHL champs over Revy in 2018 but it was the Griz that now prevailed this season winning 4 game to 1 on the road. The Cyclone Taylor Cup was hosted by Campbell River Storm. Revelstoke lost game 1 to Victoria 4-1 but came back day 2 to beat North Vancouver 5-1 and squeaked by Campbell River in front of a packed house on day 3 3-2. That lead to a finals rematch against the undefeated Victoria Cougars but it was the Griz who were unstoppable and cruised to a 5-1 win and bring back the Cup to the Kootenay International.
