Randy Rosenthal

Raoul (Randy) Simon Rosenthal, Jr.

Randy was born in Dallas, Texas on October 13, 1945.  Randy received his B.S. degree at Tulane University.  He was actively involved in golf and tennis, was a member of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, and Panhellenic editor of the campus newspaper.  He received his M.S degree at North Texas State University where he worked on his post-doctorate.  While in school, he met and married Sherry Lynn English on December 21, 1976.  The couple then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where Randy was on a two year Fellowship and taught on a part time basis at Temple University.  He concluded work on his doctorate in the mid-1970's at Indiana University's Medical School where he was hired as a Microbiologist, specializing in social diseases.  He had two children, Stacie and Matthew.  He loved playing tennis, golf, and of course, hockey.  Hockey was such a passion that he founded B.U.N.S on Ice hockey in the early 1990s.  As Randy used to wholeheartedly say as a motto in which to live life:  "Play Games!"
