HEAD COACH:

DAVE HANTIUK
Dave Hnatiuk was named the new Head Coach of Saints in June of 2019. Dave joins the Saints after spending the last 3 years as the Assistant Coach for the University of Regina Cougars Mens Hockey Team (USPORT). Dave also served as the Head Coach for the Saskatchewan Jr Pats Brick Team for the past 3 years. Prior to his recent coaching roles Dave was a instructor and a evaluator with the Saskatchewan Hockey Association. Dave brings a wealth of experience as he was also a former player who played in various leagues such as the SJHL, USPORT, CHL, WPHL and Sweden Div  2.

ASSISTANT COACHES:

JUSTIN KANIGAN
Justin Kanigan joins the Saints coaching staff with a wealth of hockey knowledge and experience. During his playing career he had stops in the KIJHL, BCJHL, WHL, CIS, and the Central Hockey League. Following junior hockey Justin used his WHL scholarship to attend the University of Lethbridge. There he played five seasons with the U of L Pronghorns earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. During his time in Alberta Justin also served as strength coach, training hockey players of all ages during the off months. He has experience training high level junior athletes to NHL and pro level hockey players. Justin finished his hockey career in 2010 where he played in the Central Hockey League for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Presently, Justin is Chinese Medicine Practitioner at the Castlegar Chiropractic and Health clinic on Columbia Ave.

DALLAS CALVIN

Saints alumni Dallas Calvin joins the Saints coaching staff this year to share his abundance of hockey knowledge and experience that he has gained throughout his playing career in the KIJHL, BCHL and the BCIHL.

ALEX ROSS (Goalie Coach)
Alex was born and raised in Montrose, B.C. After being a goalie for three years the KIJHL, Alex closed out his hockey career in pursuit of an education. His goal coaching career started at an early age working at a various number of summer goalie schools. Alex is currently attending the Massage Therapy program at The Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences and plans to continue working with athletes as a coach and RMT.
