DARNELL DYCK Forward April 18, 1991 Chilliwack, B.C. Darnell joins the Saints from Lindenwood University of the American Collegiate Hockey Association, where he led all Lions' freshmen scorers. Previously he spent four seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League, scoring 121 points in 118 games over his final two seasons in Langley. MARKUS MCCREA Forward February 15, 1992 Canyon Lake, CA Markus bring five seasons of Western Hockey League and United States Hockey League experience to the Saints. He was an impact addition for the Youngstown Phantoms last season, posting career highs in goals, points and penalty minutes while providing veteran leadership during the team's run to the Conference Finals. GARRETT KUCHER Forward December 6, 1992 Trail, B.C. Garrett returns to Selkirk College after a brief stint with the Saints during the first half of the 2011/12 season. He went on to complete his junior career with the KIJHL's Osoyoos Coyotes, where he topped the 20-goal and 50-point marks as the team's captain last season. RYAN PROCYSHYN Defenceman May 21, 1992 Surrey, B.C. Ryan joins the Selkirk defence corps following three-plus seasons in the Pacific Junior Hockey League, primarily with the Aldergrove Kodiaks and Delta Ice Hawks. This season he set career-highs with 25 assists and 30 points in 45 games played and was named as a PJHL Tom Shaw Conference All-Star. ARIE POSTMUS Defenceman January 14, 1992 Fruitvale, B.C. Arie comes to Selkirk College after three seasons as a standout blueliner with the KIJHL's Beaver Valley Nitehawks. An assistant captain with the Nitehawks during the past two seasons, Postmus helped lead Beaver Valley to a KIJHL Championship during the 2011/12 season. He spent three seasons in LaRonge, helping the Ice Wolves to a league championship in 2011 while leading the SJHL in shots faced and saves.
