KJHL Announces Award Nominees for Most Sportsmanlike Player!

Webmaster

The Keystone Junior Hockey League is proud to announce the nominees for the annual Most Sportsmanlike Player Award. This award is presented to the most sportsmanlike player in the league. Voting is done by all of the leagues teams. The nominees are as follows:

Jerome Linklater, #12 NCN Flames - finishing just outside the top ten in league scoring, Linklater was an asset to a deep Flames team this season. Chipping in 21 goals and 25 assists in 26 games he helped drive the top line for the Flames. Amassing just 54 penalty minutes he is a highly respected forward by his peers.

Sundance Paul, #7 Peguis Juniors - Sundance put up a great season this year for the Juniors. He finished 8th in league scoring, with 19 goals and 38 assists in 30 games. He also only had 57 penalty minutes for a dangerous Juniors offense that had contributors from all over the ice.

Trent Towers, #3 Norway House North Stars - Trent was a defensive stalworth for the North Stars on the back end this season. Scoring one goal and adding 7 assists in 30 games, the rookie only put up 12 penalty minutes this season. A valuable teammate he killed a lot of penalties for the North Stars, and did so very responsibly!

Congratulations to the nominees and best of luck!
