The Swiftsure ball team played an inspired Upper Deck Team on Tuesday in a hard fought loss. Eddy struggled at times on this blustery Macdonald Park Night along with Upper Deck early ofensive outburst. Gayse for Upper Deck came to the plate with bases loaded and hit a grand Slam whick put Swiftsure behind Early in the game 5-0. Swiftsure chipped away and fought back to tie up the game going into the seventh. In the Seventh Upper Deck came out blazing as the rallied in the seventh for 4 runs on 2 seventh inning homers going up by for. Swiftsure fought back scoring 1 in the seventh and put the tying run to the plate with 2 on and 2 out. It was a poor way to end the game as a poor strike 3 call ended it on a ball that was clearly out of the strike zone.
