The BCIHL is kicking off 2022 with a pair of games in Burnaby between SFU and UVIC on January 14th and 15th.
A pair of rookies for the Vikes have led the way on the scoresheet so far, defenceman Jacob King and forward Finn Withey both have a pair of goals through 4 regular season games.
SFU will finally get their captain Mitch Ledyard and Jacob Lacasse back from injury, while spring semester recruits Nick Wicks, Donat Matthys, and Max Lightfoot will see their first BCIHL action.

The only other game on this weekend's schedule is an exhibition matchup between rivals VIU Mariners and the Powell River Regals (Senior Men's) on Saturday. VIU sit second in the BCIHL standings and are looking to shake off the Christmas rust as they ramp up for the 2022 BCIHL playoffs.
