All players must wear a numbered reversible jersey in
order to play. There is too much confusion for refs calling
fouls,
and for scorekeepers keeping stats if a player is not
wearing a
number.
Duplicate numbers are also not acceptable and will result
in a technical foul and you will be force to sit out for the
game.
Cambie League black-white reversible jerseys are now for
sale
through Jared. $35 each.
Thanks,

May 24, 2013 2013 HOOPFEST: Basketball BC Adult Championships
After eight years of closing out the summer basketball circuit, the 9th Annual Hoopfest BC Tournament is looking to change things up by kicking off the summer tournament schedule on June 22/23, 2013 at the Langley Events Centre.
Last summer Hoopfest welcomed the first ever Women’s Division to the tournament and found it to be a greatly successful and welcome addition to the traditional Men’s Division. This year, Hoopfest BC is looking to add another “first” as the tournament will be host to “GET BUCKETS”, a charity component that will donate proceeds to KidSport.
This summer, the Hoopfest BC Tournament is embarking on a goal to help give back and assist in giving opportunity to the next generation of athletes. The GET BUCKETS program has been designed in order for our event to help give opportunity to the future generations of athletes by assisting with the finances required for various program registration or equipment costs. For every three pointer made over the course of the tournament $1.00 will be donated to KidSport. After 18 games last summer, there were 259 three pointers made which would equal a $259 donation towards KidSport.
Since 2004, HOOPFEST BC has showcased the many of the most talented adult teams and players from Western Canada and the United States in the Lower Mainland’s elite summer tournament. Such names as Joey Haywood, Diego Kapelan, Jacob Doerksen, Louis Hurd, Choyal Brown, Randy Nohr, Richard Anderson and Aman Heran have highlighted previous tournaments. In addition, Hoopfest BC welcomes local college and university teams looking to get a jump on their season, adding to the competitive level of the event. Previous CIS/CCAA teams/players that have appeared in the HOOPFEST BC Tournament include members of the TWU Spartans, UBC Thunderbirds, Capilano Blues, Douglas Royals, Kwantlen Eagles, Quest Kermodes, Langara Falcons and CBC Bearcats.
With visions of up to 20 teams and over 200 participants battling for their respective championships, the Langley Events Centre will be the hotbed for hoops this summer!
