Sean MacDonald
Strength and Conditioning Coach

The Posse made good on their off-season evaluation with the addition of Sean MacDonald as the team’s new Strength and Conditioning Coach.  Sean comes to the Posse with a Bachelor of Professional Studies, Kinesiology from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

MacDonald is known for his bif picture vision and detail.  In addition, his experience in sports and understanding towards an athlete’s lifestyle and characteristics results in a strong connection with the player’s and ultimately the on ice result.
 
MacDonald spent the 2013-2014 season as the Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Cumberland Bandits Junior Hockey Club in Cumberland, Ontario. He garnered a tremendous amount of respect for his results in rehabilitating injured players as well as following through with improved strength and conditioning plans for the players which ultimately led to the Bandits winning a league championship.  In addition, Sean also helped his team owner lose more than 150 lbs., in which he “owes much of the credit to Sean’s encouragement and training program”.
 
Prior to joining the Cumberland Bandits, MacDonald was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Acadia University in Nova Scotia where he assisted in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for various varsity teams as well as implementing fitness testing.  Sean was also employed as a Personal Trainer and Active Rehabilitation Specialist at The Athletic Club in Ottawa.
 
MacDonald will work with Vermillion Forks Fitnes, and has developed and established a well-rounded off ice program in which the Posse organization are now a leader in the KIJHL on.

MacDonald made the officialmove to Princeton, BC during the 2014 spring.
