It has been a long offseason with the last Princeton Posse game more than 6 months ago once main camp begins. What a better way to kick off the new season then with a bang! We want you to be a part of the weekend, and show your support for your local team and enjoy the entertainment that has been 6 months in the making!
The weekend kicks off with the season/home opener for the Princeton Posse, playing host to the Golden Rockets. With the success of last season's tailgate parties, this season's will again kick off with Billy's Resturant hosting Steak and Prawns. The tailgate party and beverage gardens will kick off at 5:00 PM. The Posse's warm up is at 6:30 PM with puck grop on the season at 7:00 PM!
Just announced is the "Evening of Champions!" on Saturday, September 13. The Princeton Posse, along with donations from Game Time Sports, are excited to bring Ivan McLelland to town. McLelland, who authored the book "From Gold Mine to Gold Medal", backstopped the 1955 Penticton Vees to thier famous World Championship. The evening will begin at 7:00 PM and will consist of a meet and greet with food and beverages, the 'Champions! presentation, Princeton Posse jersey auction and a draw for a replica Team Canada jersey as well as a framed picture of McLelland with Norris Throphy and Stanley Cup winner Dincan Keith and NHL Referee Steve Kozari.
Finally, Sunday afternoon will be the Posse's second game, and first bring your kids day, where the Posse will play a maitnee vs. the Chase Heat, featuring former Posse sniper Kaleb Boyle. Puck drops at 2:00 PM.
