2018 Season - It's A Wrap
- Submitted by

The 2018 Season came to a conclusion this past Thursday night with A's defeating the upset-minded Expos in the bottom of the 7th.  Congratulations to both teams.

Thanks to all the players, Coaches and Managers for their patience and schedule adjustments in getting through a rainy playoff week.  I truely have a greater appreciation for all the work and cooperation that goes into pulling off playoff week.  Thanks to all the umpires, but especially Don VBK and Bob Higgins for putting in a long final night.  I'll consider it a successful playoff cookout as I heard of no one complaining of food poisoning or being rushed to the hospital.  Thanks to everyone that helped out with the cooking and serving.

Thanks to Mike "The Iceman" Cerullo for all the cooler ice and Tom "Flip Flop" Murray for donating the ice cream.

Already turning an eye towards next season.  A couple topics over the off-season will be avoiding self-umpired games and a more equitable draft board.

Enjoy the off-season.  Playoffs next year will be the week of July 22.  Plan those vacation accordingly!
