With the playoffs only a week away, 5 of the 8 seeds are still undecided. The Pirates have clinched the #4 spot and will play the #5 Yankees. The Twins will be the top seed if they beat the #8 Expos or the Brewers lose to the Astros. If the Brewers either win over the Astros or lose and win a coin flip they will get the #2 slot. The Mets will end up 6th with a win over the Yankees or if the Angels lose to the Pirates.
The playoffs will commence with quarterfinal matchups on Monday, July 25th & Tuesday the 26th; the semi-finals will follow on Wednesday and the Championship Game will be on Thursday at 7:30.
