Community Involvement:

Community involvement is a key component of our organization. The Cowichan Valley Capitals players take part in many events both on and off the ice. Our players are committed to being role models for the youth of Duncan, through literary programs and mentoring in the schools as well as other various community events.

  Caps Visit Local Schools

The Caps received the following community feedback after the players spent some time visiting schools and meeting the Kids !!!

Your guys were GREAT!  It was like they were rock stars here, autographs and all!  Well, I guess they are hockey stars.  Anyway, it was great having the kids here and I look forward to having them come again.  Thanks for organizing!

A big thank you to you and all four boys:  Ty, Tyler, Clayton and Darren – they were marvelous – coached/reffed a game of floor hockey and soccer and then read with our neediest readers.
Please send them regularly!  Our school was so excited!  (we would gladly have all 4 return!)
