The Surrey Sharks conduct an in-house league for our Under 6 to Under 10 "Minis” age groups, open to both girls and boys. Games are occasionally played against other clubs.

The Minis program introduces young players to the game of Field Hockey in a fun and interactive format. The focus at this level is on fun, basic skills, and safety. 

The Minis Season runs from the beginning of April until the end of June. Practices have traditionally been scheduled for Wednesday evenings (1 hour) with games scheduled on Saturday mornings. 

Equipment Needed:
- runners or turf boots (no soccer cleats allowed)
- soccer shin pads
- junior mouth guard
- junior field hockey stick
