You know it was a good night at the Princeton Arena when the Game Star has to be picked from either a player who put up 4 points or a goalie who posted his second shutout of the season. That was the case on Friday night as the Posse picked up a crucial 5-0 victory over the Osoyoos Coyotes, securing the 3rd place position in the Okanagan Division.
The Posse didn't waste much time getting on the board, taking a 3-0 lead into the 1st intermission. Fodchuk, Adams and Casali contributing a goal each.
A slower 2nd period for the Posse meant that goaltender Jaysen MacLean had to be sharp to keep his team in it, stopping 4 or 5 point blank chances from the Coyotes.
With the end in sight all the Posse needed in the 3rd period was 2 goals from Quin Garrison and a disciplined effort up and down the line up as the obviously defeated Coyotes took their last runs at the Posse for the Season.
Final Score 5-0 Posse!
