Flame Sweeps Lightning 137-119

The Phoenix Flame completed the weekend sweep of the Arizona Lightning with a 137-119 win Saturday night at Grand Canyon University. Arizona led by 19 after one quarter and as many as 26 in the second before the Flame rallied back to get the win and improve to 8-6 this season.

Phoenix was paced by Jamal Livingston and his 26 points while David Greene pumped in 24. The Flame's balanced attack also saw Larry Morinia and Brandon Bardwell each score 20 while Del Summers added 19.


Charles Gosa paced Arizona with 37 in the losing effort and Jerald Williams added 33 for the Lightning.

Over the final three quarters of the game Phoenix outscored Arizona 111-74.
