The Coaldale Copperheads have announced that Scott Trotter has been named Head Coach of the Heritage Junior Hockey League club.
Trotter was an assistant coach with the Copperheads this past season and will take over the role from co-coaches Jeremy Kenyon and Derek Wiest, who have stepped aside from their coaching duties but will remain with the organization.
The Fort Macleod, Alta. product has been involved in coaching with Lethbridge minor hockey for many years.
The Copperheads are currently accepting applications for assistant coaches as well as a trainer for the 2017-18 season.
