The Regina Pats have announced that they have signed former Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) forward George King to Standard WHL Player Agreement.
King, 18, spent parts of three seasons playing in the HJHL with the Banff Bears and Cochrane Generals.
The Calgary, Alta. product recorded 39 points (15-24-39) in 25 games with Banff during the 2014-15 season, while posting 14 points (5-9-14) in seven games with the Generals during the 2015-16 season, along with six points (2-4-6) in 13 post-season games.
This past season, King had five points (3-2-5) in six games with Cochrane before joining the OCN Blizzard of the MJHL, where he netted 54 points (36-18-54) in 55 games.
