Powerful offenses were on display on Friday night as three teams rolled to victory.
High River (10) vs. Stettler (3)
HIGH RIVER – Mason Mazur led all skaters with five points, scoring three times and setting up two more, as the High River Flyers cruised to a 10-3 win over the Stettler Lightning.
Evan Pakkala added a pair of goals for the Flyers (3-2-1), while Braiden Burke finished with a goal and three assists.
Chantz Vinck stopped 30-of-33 shots fired his way in the High River crease, while Michael McTighe, Connor Taylor, Egor Sinko and Ryan Kanten rounded out the scoring.
Kieran Rost had two of the three goals for the Lightning (1-5-0), while Bryce Cornelissen added the other.
Airdrie (10) vs. Coaldale (1)
AIRDRIE – Four power-play goals paced the Airdrie Thunder on Friday night as they ran away with a 10-1 win over the Coaldale Copperheads.
Dante Raposo finished with three goals and two assists on the night, while Brenden Davidson and Clay Murray chipped in with two goals and one helper as the Thunder (6-1-0) have now won four in a row.
Michael Dubois, Jared Bainbridge and Benjamin Orde each added a single for Airdrie, which got a 37-save performance from goaltender Ryan Simpson.
Treyton Chomyn had the lone goal for the Copperheads (4-3-0).
Mountainview (9) vs. Three Hills (0)
THREE HILLS – Colton Anderson fired home a hat trick as the Mountainview Colts rolled to a 9-0 win over the Three Hills Thrashers on Saturday evening.
Josh Gette and Raegen Keim each finished with two goals and one assist as the Colts (3-2-1) went on to score three times in each period.
Ethan Woodward stopped all 22 shots he faced to pick up the shutout between the pipes, while Damian Vickers and Zane Leatherdale rounded out the scoring, the latter also picking up two assists.
