The Bisons and Wranglers continued their winning ways on Sunday.

Blackfalds (4) vs. Airdrie (3)

BLACKFALDS – It what was truly a back and forth affair, it was the Blackfalds Wranglers that were left standing after a wild 4-3 victory over the Airdrie Thunder.

Scoring recap: Blackfalds, Airdrie. Blackfalds, Airdrie, Blackfalds, Airdrie, Blackfalds.

In the end, it was Landon Siegle who found the back of the net with 41 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Wranglers (6-1-0) to their sixth straight victory. Siegle also had two assists in the game.

Spencer Otto, Shawn Rowe and Braden Olsen had the other Blackfalds goals, while goaltender Lane Brann made 33 saves between the pipes.

Rylan Plante-Crough scored twice and added an assist for the Thunder (8-1-2), while Clay Murray rounded out the scoring with a goal and assist.

Ryan Simpson made 42 saves in the loss.

GAME SUMMARY

Okotoks (5) vs. High River (2)

OKOTOKS – A three-goal night from Kyle Harrison paced the Okotoks Bisons to their fourth straight victory as they took a 5-2 win over the High River Flyers on Sunday afternoon.

Harrison scored once in every period, while teammate Robbie McLean factored in on four of the Okotoks (7-2-0) goals, scoring once and setting up three others.

Kody Briggs rounded out the scoring with a single, while goaltender Devin Reagan made 24 saves between the pipes.

Mason Mazur and Joel Nalder had the goals for the Flyers (4-5-1), which got 36 saves from Chantz Vinck.
