The Wranglers hit the 40-point plateau with a win over the Stampeders in the lone HJHL game on Tuesday.
Blackfalds (4) vs. Ponoka (2)
BLACKFALDS – Lane Brann made 34 saves as the Blackfalds Wranglers were 4-2 winners over the Ponoka Stampeders on Tuesday evening.
Dylan Scheunert and Austin Wilson each finished with a goal and assist for the Wranglers (19-11-2), which have now won three straight games.
Zane Bennett and Isaac Kingma rounded out the Blackfalds scoring, each finding the back of the net in the middle stanza.
Austin Ancion and Nate Higgins provided the offence for the Stampeders (11-18-3).
Taylor McLaughlin took the loss in the Ponoka crease, stopping 31-of-35 shots on the night.
