The Heritage Junior Hockey League announced today the 2017-18 All-Star Team, as selected by teams and overseen by the HJHL Executive.

FORWARDS

Dylan Houston, Stettler Lightning

Houston, 22, wrapped up six-year HJHL career with an 86 point (38-48-86) in 35-games played season. His 86 points led the entire HJHL, while his 48-assists were tied for the lead.

Logan Linnell, Red Deer Vipers

Linnell, 20, registered 61 points (26-35-61) in 32 games this season. He finished in the Top 10 for goals, assists, points, points-per-game and powerplay goals.

Davis Sheldon, High River Flyers

Sheldon, 20, closed out the regular season with 78 points (41-37-78) in 35 games, good for second overall in the HJHL in points and goals.

DEFENCEMEN

Dalton Angeltvedt, Red Deer Vipers

Angeltvedt, 19, led all defencemen in the HJHL with 52 points (16-36-52) in 33 games. His 36 assists not only led all blueliners but was good for a tie of seventh among all skaters.

Austin Keller, Cochrane Generals

Keller, 21, accumulated 47 points (12-35-47) in 33 games this season, finishing second in scoring among HJHL defencemen.

GOALTENDER

Cole Sears, Red Deer Vipers

Sears, 20, led all eligible goaltenders with a 2.35 goals-against average and was tied for the league lead with three shutouts. He finished the regular season with a 14-3-0 record.
