Jordan McConnell of the Airdrie Thunder has been named the Heritage Junior Hockey League’s Player of the Week for the week ending on September 23, 2018.
McConnell, 20, registered seven goals and seven assists in just two games this past week to help the Thunder to a 2-0-0 start to the season.
The Airdrie, Alta. product had four goals and four assists in win over Stettler on Friday evening, before adding three goals and three assists in a win over Coaldale the following night.
